Naturally, it's nearly midnight and I find myself in a creative void. I keep staring at my page of writing ideas, willing my brain to make something of them. I don't know if it's my anxiety trying to quiet my courageous leap of becoming an author, or if my brain is just fried. Regardless, it can be pretty demotivating to have a cool book idea, yet have no idea where to start. I've only ever written articles, blog posts, poems and short stories. How can I possibly write a full-blown novel? Maybe I'm just afraid I'll write a kick ass book and no one to read it.
Any advice for a first-time novelist?
